Lawrence Lek was born in Frankfurt in 1982. He grew up in different Asian cities: Singapore, Osaka, Bangkok, Hong Kong, following his parents’ jobs with Singapore Airlines. He studied architecture in the UK and in the US, and today lives in London, where he is working as an artist and pursuing a PhD in Machine Learning at the Royal Academy of Art.
